I have fished the Matagorda Bay Complex since I was old enough to hold a fishing rod, over 40 years. I have an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in many different types of inshore fishing. I am equally comfortable using both live bait and artificial lures. I try my best to match your interests and skill level to the best tactics for your success. I am friendly, patient and easy going. My goal is for us to enjoy our time on the water as well as to have a safe and productive fishing trip.
I am a Navy veteran and was an educator for 20 years. I have earned degrees from Texas A&M University and the University of Houston. My background in education comes through in my fishing trips as I patiently teach fishing methods and strategy.
I am fully licensed by both Texas Parks and Wildlife and the United States Coast Guard and my boat has all the required safety equipment.
